Is the free tier a trial?
No. It stays free, with no time limit and no card. Fourteen of the 16 tools and the editor run in your browser. Password protect a PDF and Unlock a PDF use the server, because PDF encryption needs one.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
Yes, 14 days. Stripe takes a card and the checkout shows Total due today $0.00 before you confirm. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing.
What does $9 a month get me?
Saved documents with version history, search, folders, sharing, comments, forms, diagrams, OCR, and redaction. Files up to 512 MB, 5 GB of storage, and 2,000 API calls a day.
What is the diagramming tool?
An endless canvas with over 400 stencils and connectors that route around shapes. It exports to SVG, PNG, PDF, and .drawio, and reads and writes mermaid.
Can I put a diagram on a PDF?
Yes. Open a PDF, choose Shape, and the stencil library opens over the page. The text underneath stays editable. How it works.
Can my software create documents?
Yes. Post Markdown, HTML, an image, mermaid, an SVG, or a PDF to the API and get back a document in your list. Retrieve it as PDF, PNG, SVG, mermaid, or JSON. The endpoints.
Where are my documents stored?
On the free tier they stay on your own machine. Saved documents are encrypted with AES-256, backed up nightly, and downloadable at any time. Deleted documents sit in the trash for 30 days. More on this.
Can I cancel?
Any time, in two clicks. You keep everything until the end of the month you paid for, and your documents stay downloadable after that. See the refunds page.
How do I pay?
By card through Stripe, plus Apple Pay, Cash App, or Amazon Pay if your browser offers them. Monthly.
What counts as Enterprise?
More than one person on one account. Seats you manage, central billing, volume pricing, an audit log, a named support contact, a data processing agreement, SSO, 25 GB of storage, and 20,000 API calls a day.
Is there an app to install?
No. It runs in any current browser, on a phone or a desktop.
